In Inventrail, no project closes silently. Every item assigned to a project must be explicitly resolved before the project can be marked complete. Items can be returned to stock, consumed, flagged as an exception, transferred to another project, or marked as purchased. Closure blockers are surfaced clearly — you always know exactly what prevents sign-off.
